Salary: £60,000.00 – £90,000.00 per year (Depending on experience)

The Role:

We are working with a leading global finance provider based in Redhill who are currently in search of a Quantitative Analytics / Credit Risk Modelling Manager to assist with the IRB requirements for their model suite. Responsibilities will include various tasks such as model development, monitoring, and calibration of IRB models.

This hybrid role requires at least 2 days a week in the office.

The Requirements:

  • Strong academic background
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for IRB
  • PD. LGD, EAD Modelling experience
  • Extensive expertise in constructing credit risk models, incorporating estimation and validation techniques
  • Proficiency in SAS
  • Python and Excel preferred

Operational Risk Director

We are seeking an Operational Risk Director to join the Investment Bank team.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide expertise on Operational Risk, support business decisions, and contribute to governance meetings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivery, including review and challenge, of core elements of the framework, including: RCSA, KRIs, internal & external risk events, issue impact assessments, action plan management, risk assessments, reporting, tolerance, Capital, policies and international reporting requirements
  • Identifying and delivering enhancements to the framework, including the Operational Risk system
    Contribute to, and lead, initiatives such as deep dive control reviews, op risk system development, and data framework
  • Increase the awareness of operational risk across the firm
  • Support business developments, including operational risk assessments of new products and other business initiatives and projects
  • Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders, including front office & support functions
  • Coordinate with ORM team colleagues to ensure compliance with reporting and framework requirements
  • Keep up to date with relevant industry-specific Operational Risk issues

Credit Risk Director – Commodity Traders

We are currently searching for a Director level Credit Risk professional for the following:

  • London based
  • Credit Risk Director (2nd line of defence)
  • Corporate & Investment Banking background
  • A proven Director grade Credit Risk professional
  • Portfolio coverage to include: Commodity Traders, Precious Metal Refiners and European Utility companies.
  • Ideally this person will have covered Carbon Trading also
  • EU and USA client coverage

We are working with a Corporate / Investment Bank based in London in their for a Compliance Analyst.

This role requires to be organised within a broad scope of duties, flexible to manage multiple
deadlines and be technically proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, such as, traditional excel.

The role also has exposure to Data protection, MIFID, MIFIR, MAR and FCA COBs obligations and this role can
offer further development and opportunities.

The role:

  • General Administrative duties such as maintaining employees/user inventory of internal
    compliance related databases and/or automated workflow applications
  • Ownership of internal and external reporting obligation register for London Compliance
  • Assist as directed in the risk assessment process for integrated financial crime and
    compliance

Experience:

Market Risk Analyst

The Role:

  • Assist with daily reporting and monitoring of Commodity and Collateral markets, assessing risk exposure of portfolios, and improving processes.
  • Identify and escalate risks to senior management, ensuring transparency and prompt action.
  • Lead and support the automation of risk reporting and analysis.
  • Contribute to risk methodology documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Monitor market risks and their impact on margin parameters and member exposures.
  • Prepare and automate daily, monthly, and committee reports.
  • Participate in default management exercises and IT system testing.

Experience:

  • Degree in a numerate subject (preferred).
  • Financial or market-based qualification (e.g., CFA, FRM, ACT) or willingness to pursue (preferred).
  • Initial Margin, VaR, collateral haircuts, stress testing knowledge
  • Strong financial mathematics background and risk management understanding.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with VBA/SQL, Python, and PowerBI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fixed income, treasury, and commodity markets is desirable.

We are working with a leading derivatives broker who are seeking a Quantitative Risk Manager to support the Head of Financial Risk. Responsibilities include optimising and refining existing models, as well as proposing entirely new models and approaches.

The role has significant exposure to senior management. You will work closely with the Model Validation, Regulatory Capital, Treasury, Trading, Credit Operations, Enterprise Data and Technology teams.

Experience:

  • End-to-end management of credit, market, capital, and liquidity risk profiles
  • Knowledge of Equities / Derivatives products

Operational Risk Associate

Development Bank seeks an Operational Risk Associate to support the Risk Director.  

You will focus on reporting and managing operational risk (risk register, risk event reporting and key risk indicators). As Operational risk associate you will be the subject matter expert for operational risk systems and interact with a wide range of internal stakeholders in the Risk team, technology, corporate functions and investment teams.

Team and role overview

The Risk Office is central to identifying, mitigating and managing risk and maintaining transparency with all stakeholders. As one of those key pillars, the Operational Risk team is responsible for the design and implementation of the overall operational risk management framework, including:

  • Supporting risk owners in the identification and prioritisation of risks
    Provide business-wide risk reporting to the Operations Committee, Risk Committee, Board and Shareholder
  • Continuous improvement of the risk framework

Operational Risk Management

  • Be the Operational risk lead, initially for Corporate functions. This includes management of the risk register, leading risk register reviews and risk event management
  • Working with risk owners to ensure that risks are identified and assessed appropriately
    Conduct root-cause analysis and analyse trends in risk events, recommending actions to reduce the likelihood of future errors
  • Review key risk indicators and metrics as input to risk assessments.

Governance Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) System

  • Become a subject matter expert on the GRC software & Risk team point of contact for Riskonnect, including access management
  • Keep the information in the tool relevant and propose enhancements
  • Be the SME for building and extracting reports from Riskonnect

Reporting

  • Produce periodic risk management presentations for the governance committees and Board Risk Committee
  • Support the Operational Risk team to deliver timely and good quality risk management reports to the CRO, Operations Committee, Risk Committee of the Board and Shareholder
    Quarterly submission of process risk metrics
  • Develop and produce new reports, including risk events, key risk indicators, risk appetite and risk-related actions

Technical Skills

  • You will have proven operational risk or risk reporting experience, ideally from the investment sector
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI
