The Role:
- Manage daily Central Compliance and Control Room operations, including report processing, preparation, and submission
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of Central Compliance and Control Room procedures.
- Assist with subsidiary reporting requirements
- Assist with SMF applications to the FCA and update the FCA Directory for Certified Persons
- Utilise extensive SMCR knowledge to enhance controls and processes within the department and with stakeholders.
- Report to relevant Committees as directed by the Head of Central Compliance and Assurance.
- Ensure annual review and revision of policies and procedures
- Produce monthly management information and materials for committees and Board reports.
- Liaise with the FCA as needed.
The Requirements:

ROLE SUMMARY:
As Head of Risk & Compliance, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating the risk framework, including compliance and financial crime. Ensuring the Firm and its employees adhere to policies, procedures, and requirements. You will advise the CEO and Board on the successful delivery of a risk strategy and oversee the embedding of risk appetite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish, implement, and maintain a risk framework, including risk and compliance policies, procedures, risk assessments and the compliance monitoring plan.
- Devise systems and processes to monitor and report on relevant key risks (regulatory and financial crime), including risk events.
- Oversee the conduct risk framework.
