Senior Compliance Officer

We are working with a Corporate / Investment Bank based in London in their for a Senior Compliance Officer.

You will be involved in second-line regulatory advice and compliance oversight of controls and contribute the development, and maintenance of policies.

The role:

• Establishing a proactive risk-based approach compliance function that will contribute towards the prevention of regulatory and conduct risks that may arise
• Provide regulatory advice to business and support functions in a constructive and practical manner while respecting the segregation of duties
• Proactively contribute towards internal and external reporting as requested and provide
  management information to CCO/MLRO

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of UK legislative and regulatory framework and application to wholesale
  financial instruments and financing products or services (e.g., MIFIR Transaction reporting,
  EMIR, SMCR, Conflicts, UK GDPR).
• Proven technical compliance and conduct experience gained in UK financial services
• Efficient in Microsoft applications such as: traditional Excel
